NUT BUTTER FUDGE



GF, DF, V, RSF


This nut butter fudge is a soft and creamy treat that’s great to have on hand for those times you need something deliciously satisfying. Nut butters are packed full of healthy fats and protein, and with such a variety now available you can easily change the flavour of this fudge.


Ingredients:

¼ cup coconut oil

3 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey

1 cup of your favourite nut butter


Method:

• Line a small tray with baking paper.

• Melt the coconut oil and maple syrup or honey in a saucepan over a low heat.

• Remove from the heat and add the nut butter. Stir until well combined.

• Pour the mixture into the prepared tray (or you can pour into moulds or an ice cube tray) and freeze until set (at least 3 hours).

• Cut into pieces and store in the freezer or fridge until ready to eat. The fudge will melt if left at room temperature.


Serves: 16

Prep Time: 5 minutes, plus freezing time (3+ hours)

Cooking Time: 5 minutes
